DESCRIPTION:

Information Technology (IT) Security provides students with the opportunity to develop a fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for IT professionals. This course uses a hands-on approach to troubleshoot and implement securing technologies to computer networks and devices. Students identify and address security incidents and protect applications and systems within an organization. Students who successfully complete all learning objectives of this course will also be prepared to write the CompTIA Security+ certification exam.
