exclamation-circle-solid Notice to the CNC Community: ITS will never reach out via Teams and ask users for account information, or to access their computer remotely unless support has been initiated by the user themselves. 

If you receive a call, Teams message or email from someone claiming to be IT who you do not recognize:
  • Verify the username/address is from @cnc.bc.ca
  • Connect with the Service Desk directly to verify the identity of the technician
  • Do not provide information or access if you have not verified the person is an ITS staff member.
