Through secured funding CNC Community & Continuing Education provides tuition free training for entry-level trades exploration, training and employment services that are targeted to eligible individuals who are under-represented (Indigenous, women, immigrants, and youth) and/or facing other barriers to sustainable employment.

Short Order Cook
January 30 - March 24, 2023
Specialize in preparing quick & delicious meals with this tuition-free program. This 8-week program will provide the essential skills for students to gain confidence working in a restaurant kitchen, with exciting bonus content focused on traditional Indigenous meals such as bannock tacos!

Professional Drivers Training Program
February 13 - July 28, 2023
This fully funded 24-week program is designed to teach students Class 1 Driver Training including MELT, essential skills training and theory, and industry certificates such as WHMIS, OFA level 1 and Transportation of Dangerous Goods. The program is comprised of a blend of classroom, practical training, work experience and a mentorship.

Discovering Archaeology

This is fully funded program with supports including tuition, books, fees, and a weekly training wage.
