New Vanderhoof Campus

Site preparation begins at new Vanderhoof campus - April 17, 2019

Site preparation work at the College of New Caledonia’s (CNC) new Vanderhoof campus started this week.

Safety fences and signs were installed around the site while crews worked to remove anything in or outside the building that doesn’t need to be there when the project moves into the renovation phase.

“This recent on-site activity is an exciting step in the project,” said CNC President Henry Reiser. “We’re pleased to share the news with residents and are committed to keeping the community informed as the project progresses.”

CNC Vanderhoof Regional Principal Troy Morin appreciated the insightful feedback the College received at a well-attended public engagement session in the new campus building in December 2018.

"I’m inspired by the community’s commitment to post-secondary education,” he said. “CNC’s new campus will enhance the teaching and learning environment in Vanderhoof.”

CNC is also pleased to announce it has brought Stantec Inc. on as the project’s prime consultant and IDL Projects Inc. as the construction manager.
