Peer Connections

The Peer Connections Program is a mentorship program that connects first and second-year students. Designed to help you make new friends and grow soft skills, this program will help you seamlessly connect with the Prince George CNC community and learn first-hand about the services and support offerings of the college.

What is being a participant like?

If you’re a first-year student, you can sign up as a Peer Participant and connect with a second- year student who will provide support to help you succeed. Your Peer Connector can help you access resources and student services, as well as inform you of fun student events and activities. To get the most out of your time as a Peer Participant, be sure to keep in touch with your Peer Connector throughout the semester and don’t be afraid to reach out for help.

What do peer connectors do?

If you’re a second-year student, you can volunteer as a Peer Connector. Peer Connectors are trained to guide and support new CNC students. As a Peer Connector, you will help to support Peer Participants in accessing campus resources, building connections with fellow students, and taking part in student events and activities.
