Where to Give

Student Awards: Bursaries & Scholarships

Awards represent crucial support for students embarking on full-time programs of study, upgrading their skills, learning new trades, and completing necessary credentials for career advancement.

  • Bursaries help students in financial need who are progressing well in their programs of study.
  • Scholarships and awards honour academic excellence and achievement.

Donors can establish awards on an annual basis, or permanently, by creating an endowment. Donors can also donate to already established awards in honour of a friend, family member or colleague.

Annual Awards

Annual gifts of $1,000 or more support student scholarships or bursaries. Annual contributions may be designated to support students in specific programs or CNC can direct the funds to program areas of greatest need. Donors can create a one-time award or a multi-year award.

Endowment Awards

Endowments create a lasting legacy at CNC. A minimum donation of $30,000+ will provide a source of funding for scholarships and bursaries. Endowments can be created to support students in specific programs, or CNC can direct the funds to program areas of greatest need. Once established, an endowment can continue to grow through ongoing contributions from industry partners, family, or friends.

Areas of Greatest Need

By designating your gift to Areas of Greatest Need, you join thousands of alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty, and staff who make CNC a hub of learning and growth. By designating your gift in this way, you give CNC’s dedicated faculty leaders and staff the flexibility to prioritize the needs of our students, award financial aid, take advantage of arising opportunities, and build on unforeseen challenges.

Pledges

If you would like to make a contribution between one and five years, pledges are a fantastic option. This method allows you to make a larger contribution with multi-payments to a project of interest over time, while allowing the College to plan ahead knowing that your commitment is in place to help fund the project.

Gifts in-kind (Books, Training Aids & Equipment)

These donations enrich hands-on learning and are vital to student success. Tax receipts are issued for all gifts. For items valued over $1,000, an independent appraisal is required (services not eligible).
