Adult Upgrading Grant
The Adult Upgrading Grant (AUG) is a provincial government-funded program that provides needs-based grants to help off-set the costs associated with program/course(s) fees, tuition, workbooks, unsubsidized childcare and transportation for learners most in need of financial assistance enrolled in Adult Basic and Special Education programs including:
- Academic Upgrading (ACDU)
- English Language Studies (ESL)
- Focus Employment Training (FOCUS)
- Job, Education and Training (JET), Techniques for Access (TARGET) and
Download the Adult Upgrading Grant here. The application can also be picked up at the Financial Aid & Awards Office, next to Admissions. Complete the application in full; bring a copy of your most recent Income Tax return (line 150) and a copy of your Admissions Registration Statement for the course(s) you are taking to the Financial Aid & Awards office to book an appointment.
