CNC has recently partnered with Riipen, an online platform that connects students with real companies to complete real-world projects for course credit.

Do you remember that one project you did in school that really made a difference in your understanding and growth?
Riipen offers instructors the ability to supplement their courses with real-world assignments that will help students build their skill and confidence in a professional setting. Start by reviewing your syllabus for an upcoming course and see if there is the opportunity to turn a research paper into a research project , or turn an analysis and presentation into an analysis and set of recommendations, or even turn a final exam into an integrative capstone project...all for a real company!
Both Riipen and CNC are able to provide one-on-one support. Please review this FAQ list for instructors and contact The Centre for Teaching and Learning to answer any questions and start investigating using Riipen in your class.
If you would like to work with CNC students on a project for your organization, please go to CNC's Riipen portal and create your free company profile. You can then choose to post your project idea for CNC instructors to view (following these instructions), or respond to their existing project ideas.
Projects can be posted any time but are best to be posted at least 2 months before the start of the upcoming semester (January, May, and September).
You will find detailed instructions and best practices for companies in the Riipen Academy.
Both Riipen and CNC are able to provide one-on-one support. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to answer any questions.
