Wellness Coaching can help students with the following:

Here2Talk

In addition to our resources on campus, you can also access support through Here2Talk. Here2Talk is a free, confidential resource available to all post-secondary students in BC. You can access confidential support via the 24 hour telephone line, or use the Here2Talk app or website to access a counsellor through text-based chat.

You can also access articles and other online resources designed to enhance your well-being through the app and website. Counselling services are currently available in English and French but additional languages can be made available by request.

Consultation and Referrals for Wellness Supports

Consultation is available for students, faculty, or staff to discuss their concerns and seek support for students. Students may benefit from a range of different support services when they are experiencing distress or personal difficulties.

Have a Medical Inquiry?

CNC's Health and Wellness Centre provides a range of medical services, including prescription refills, referral to other healthcare services, wart removal, Well Woman exams (PAP, STI, HIV testing), IUD insertions, and chronic disease management.

Health & Wellness Centre 

Prince George

Referrals for Counselling are made by the Wellness Coach (through Student Services) or Health and Wellness Centre medical staff. Please contact either of these services to schedule a consultation appointment. Our knowledgeable staff will direct you to a support person who can best meet your needs, whether that is for short term counselling, or connection to longer term supports.

Burns Lake

A part-time counsellor is on-site in to provide clinical counselling services to assist students to maximize their chance of success and overcome barriers. Confidential counselling for wellness, personal problems or crises, and mental health concerns. 

Fort St. James

Referrals are made by faculty, staff and community agencies. Students may also self-refer. To schedule an appointment, please call the campus front desk. 

Mackenzie
