#CNCLearningTogether

There were several opportunities over the summer for people to provide input on what CNC needs to focus on for the next five years. An online survey open to all ran from June to September, followed by a series of online town halls including sessions for each of the communities where campuses are located – Burns Lake, Fort St. James, Mackenzie, Prince George, Quesnel and Vanderhoof.

So many of you took time to answer questions or chat with us. Thank you to everyone who participated, provided your views, and contributed to the future of CNC!

Provide input into CNC’s focus for the future

Following months of consultations (town halls, interviews, a survey and many planning discussions with the Management group, Executive and Board) and hundreds of hours of research and analysis, the College’s future direction and areas of focus are beginning to form.

Using key findings from this consultation and research, CNC’s Board of Directors has identified four key areas for CNC to focus on when developing its strategic plan:

  • Learning that takes place over a person’s lifetime
  • Education and training that is innovative and relevant to CNC’s communities
  • An organization that is sustainable
  • Community and partnerships

Small working groups will conduct a deeper dive into each of these areas, clarifying what the college needs to achieve and what it will take to make these goals a reality.

We invite you to provide input on these key areas of focus by contributing your thoughts through a new online survey.
