Thank you for taking the first step toward your future. Don’t forget that parking is free for the day thanks to the generosity of Impark.

Check in Open

All guests must check in 

Visit us at check in (located at the main entrance) to be entered into giveaways, receive a CNC swag bag, a $5 voucher for the Cafeteria or Bookstore, and your event pass, which entitles you to complimentary popcorn, hot chocolate, and cupcake. 

4:00pm and 6:00pm 

Campus Tours

Let a CNC Future Student Advisor show you around! Tour the Main Building, Trades Buildings, and Campus Housing.  

Join a group leaving at 4:00pm and 6:00pm from the Learning Commons (2-724). 

5:45pm - 6:30pm 

CNC Drummers

Pick up a drum to join in with the CNC Drumming Group, or enjoy the music. 

Find this in the Main Building, in Room 1-306.

Program Fair

Explore various tables featuring continuing education, trades programs, academic programs, health science programs and more. Engage with representatives from different areas to answer all your questions.  

Find this in the Main Building, in the Gathering Place and the Brink Building Hallway.

Student Supports Fair

Meet some of the people who can help you have a successful journey at CNC.  Booths include Wellness, Financial Aid and Awards, Recreation, CNCSU, International and more!

Admissions Support

Connect with CNC’s Admissions, Advising, and Future Student Services teams. Receive personalized academic advice and step-by-step instruction on how to apply to CNC or register for classes.  

Find this in the Main Building in the Gathering Place and Office of the Registrar (1-738).

Food

Don’t go hungry while you’re here!   

  • Popcorn: A CNC staple, complimentary popcorn can be found in the Gathering Place.  

  • Cupcakes: Satisfy your sweet tooth with a complimentary cupcake at the fair in the Gathering Place.  

  • Hot Chocolate: Warm up with a complimentary hot chocolate while on your walk to the Trades Buildings.  

  • Cafeteria: Find an assortment of food and drinks. Don’t forget to use your $5 voucher!

Games  

Everyone is a winner with Plinko! Receive 1 playing token during check in and double your odds by collecting a second token in the Brink Building.  

Prizes range from CNC swag, to drink and food items, school essentials and gift cards, all the way up to perfume/cologne sets. Prizes range in worth from $1 - $100 each.

Win with CNC

You have the chance to win big. Make sure you are checked into the event to be entered to win. This is what’s up for grabs:

  • Plinko: Join us outside of the Gathering Place to win prizes. Everyone is a winner, plus watch for a couple grand prizes worth upwards of $100!  

  • To play: Cash in a token to play. Each high school student participant will be awarded one token during check in and another at the Brink Building. Tokens can be collected anytime between 3:00pm and 6:45pm on November 21, 2024.  

  • Tuition Credit: One of three tuition vouchers worth $1,000.  

  • Pre-Registration Tuition Credit: $500 tuition voucher.
