Micro-Credentials Defined

What is a micro-credential you may ask? A micro-credential is a certification of assessed competencies that is additional, alternate, complementary to, or a component of a formal qualification. They're great for employees who are facing new challenges, or employers looking to upgrade their workforce. They are courses or a series of courses that represent competency needs identified by employers and industry sectors to fill training gaps.

Students will complete assessments and receive instructor feedback to assist in strong skills development. Successful students walk away from these application-based courses with skills they can use every day in today's working world.
