But don’t take our word for it

Hear from experienced students, alumni, and faculty

  • Janna Cordeiro

My favourite part of the program has been going out and job shadowing all the different types of dental offices in town. I get to see the different kinds of job opportunities that are available and determine what kind of office I would enjoy working in after graduation.

    Janna Cordeiro

    Dental Assistant Certificate Student
  • Sara Evans-4

My passion for helping others and creating positive change in my community is what inspired me to become a nurse. The experience I have gained in the program is very fulfilling.

    Sara Evans

Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program Student
  • Arianna Rosen-2

The teachers are my favourite part of the program. They really do their best to make a very challenging program more diverse in the ways we learn and test knowledge. Whether you’re a visual learner, hands-on, or big on memorization, they do their best to make sure their classes combine all these learning forms.

  • Larissa Nygaard

Our program is great for those students with a curious scientific mind, who have a passion for healthcare but might not want a lot of direct patient care, who enjoy working with equipment and have great attention to detail.

    Larissa Nygaard

Medical Laboratory Technology Science Diploma Alumni and Instructor
  • Jason Rapps

There aren’t very many MLTS programs in Canada, especially out west. Most other programs are in major cities. Because we’re in a smaller city and we’re a smaller program, we’re able to deliver a much more personal experience for our students.

    Jason Rapps

Medical Laboratory Technology Science Diploma Instructor
  • Lana Duncan

The dental assisting program at CNC is nationally accredited and our graduates are sought after for their level of knowledge and skills.  This program is an intense 10-month program; when students graduate, they are career-ready.

  • Josh Staub a Licensed Practical Nurse standing next to monitoring equipment

Nursing has dozens of different applications with huge variety. There are so many jobs within the job. For example, what an LPN does in a community setting is incredibly different from what an LPN would do in an acute-care setting. So people can really find their niche, which I think is kind of rare.
