How Can We Assist You? 

  • Personalized Support: Together with your instructors, we devise a tailored plan for accommodations and assistance. 

  • Direct Consultations: You can schedule an in-person or online appointment with our Accessibility Advisor. 

  • Diverse Accommodations: Depending on your needs, our support might include extended exam times, lecture audio recordings, text to speech software, sign language interpretation, and more. 

  • Additional Support: We can aid you in applying for StudentAidBC disability funding, getting in touch with other services, building self-advocacy skills, and planning courses and transitions. 

Steps for Current & Prospective Students 

  1. Book an Appointment with Academic Success Centre Staff To

  • Understand how CNC supports students with disabilities
  • Discuss the type of documentation needed
  • Explore financial supports that fit your situation
  • Create an educational plan for your needs
  • Grasp key points about confidentiality and more

  1. Submit Medical Documentation: Once received, we'll identify how to best support you. 

  1. Planning Sessions with Accessibility Services: We recommend you contact us at least 4 months before the start of a semester or program to ensure we have time to arrange services, but you can reach out anytime. We're always happy to help!

We support students facing barriers due to learning disabilities, ADHD, mental health challenges, sensory impairments, TBI, chronic illnesses, and more.
