Building Envelope Project
Exterior upgrades are progressing across the 100, 300, 400, and 700 Blocks of the Prince George campus, with a focus on windows, roofing, and exterior finishes through mid-May.
Important:
Temporary Access Changes: May 6–8
Concrete fin removal work will take place from Wednesday, May 6 to Friday, May 8 at the Prince George Campus.
The following areas will be closed:
- Shipping & Receiving ramp / Loading Dock
- Smoking shelter (near the 940 and 960 Blocks)
- 300 Block North entrance (bridge to Trades buildings)
Alternate routes will be in place, and signage will guide pedestrians and vehicles around the affected areas.
Deliveries
Small packages: use the 700 Block main entrance (22nd Ave)
Pallet deliveries: 980 Block (Facilities Warehouse)
Pedestrian & Accessible Access
Please follow posted detours and use alternate entrances. Accessible routes will be clearly marked.
Some entrances may be partially or temporarily closed. Expect noise, dust, visual disruptions, and temporary detours in affected areas.
Accessibility & Detours
Please use posted detour routes and alternate entrances during closures until further notice.
- Accessible parking at the South Main Entrance is temporarily relocated near the crosswalk ramp.
- The following entrances are closed or partially closed:
- 300 Block 2nd Floor Entrance (Bridge to Trades Buildings) - Fully closed due to concrete fin removal
- Two 1st-floor exits in the 300 Block
- Back entrance of the Health and Wellness Center (closed except for emergencies)
Network Renewal Project
The Network Renewal Project is now complete across CNC campuses, with only minor close-out activities underway.
You may notice Builders Lien Act notices posted on campus. This is a required and standard step that confirms the project work has been completed.
Any remaining work will be limited to small updates within network spaces.
