Customized ENLA Programs 4 weeks
Gain practical skills and cross-cultural awareness in a fun and integrated learning environment.
Customized ENLA Programs are non-credit programs for students who want to improve their English through experiential learning and immersion.
These programs include three components:
- English Classes
- ENLA Conversational Time and Leadership/Recreational activities
- Introduction to:
A. Engineering Program provides visiting students the chance to explore specifics of the Canadian engineering sectors and gain knowledge of the Canadian workplace environment.
B. Health Sciences Program will expose students to the Canadian Health Care system approaches to individual and community health, health promotion and professional ethics.
C. Leadership Program offers visiting students the opportunity to improve their communication and leadership skills by getting involved in planning and organizing various activities at CNC campus and surrounding area.

English Language Courses
The English Language Department has over 30 years of experience in teaching English as an additional language. Study with highly qualified teachers in an English environment, prepare yourself for the rigours of the Canadian college environment, and watch your English improve rapidly in our multicultural classrooms.
ENLA Level 1 English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Preparation
Start to build vocabulary, practice speaking English, improve pronunciation, writing and reading skills.
ENLA Level 2 English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 1
Build on grammar knowledge, expand writing skills, read more complex material from real world sources and become a more fluent speaker.
ENLA Level 3 English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 2
Polish grammar and writing skills to prepare for college level writing, listen and comprehend speaking from a variety of sources.
ENLA Level 4 English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 3
Listen to lectures and academic presentations, create presentations, write college level essays, read and critique texts and academic articles.
Locations & Dates
The English Language program is available at the Prince George Campus.
||15 week semester
- You must be at least 17 years of age and turn 18 during the first semester at CNC.
- To ensure you enter the program at the appropriate level, you must complete a placement test before admission. ESL instructors will also interview you before program placement.
- International students will be required to submit high school documentation as part of the application process.
Note: TOEFL/IELTS is not required for admission to ESL.
Any program of study that does not have a selective admission process or fixed capacity and is on a “first qualified, first admitted” basis.
