Main Entrance Renewal Update

CNC Prince George main entrance construction with fresh concrete poured and Bobcats working

Get ready for a fresh look at the main entrance at our Prince George Campus. We're thrilled to announce an upcoming renovation project that's all about enhancing accessibility, safety, and aesthetics.

Why the Change?

We're addressing some maintenance concerns with the current brick and concrete setup at the entrance. Over time, nature's elements have played a part in water and ice accumulation—creating a slip hazard. Safety first, always!

What's in Store

  • Fresh concrete for a dry and safe entry experience.
  • Goodbye to the grand concrete arches outside the entrance, and hello to improved visibility and sight lines.
  • New green spaces and flower beds, adding charm between the entrance and the amphitheater.
  • A wider sidewalk along those short-term parking spots.

Alternate Routes

While the magic happens, the main campus entrance will temporarily shift to the west side (between the dental and daycare building and the gym). It's a breeze to access, and we've got accessibility in mind with a handy door actuator. Bonus: it's conveniently close to our campus transit shelters.

Smoking Area Update

The smoking area has been relocated to the benches outside of the East Entrance – watch for signs pointing to the way.
