The future skills grant aims to help British Columbians quickly get the skills they need to succeed in the jobs of today and the future. You could be eligible to receive up to $3,500 to help cover tuition fees for select programs.

 Do I Qualify?

You may qualify for the program if you:

  • Are a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person.
  • Are residing in British Columbia.
  • Are 19 years of age and older, -OR- have graduated from grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Have not yet reached your $3,500 lifetime maximum.

The StrongerBC future skills grant is only available for students enrolling in the programs listed below beginning in the 2024/2025 school year.

  • The ABCs of Digital Marketing

  • Short Order Cook (Burns Lake Campus)

  • Introduction to Dakelh Language

  • Occupational First Aid Level 3 (Quesnel Campus)

  • Medical Terminology

  • Dental Office Receptionist

  • Indigenous Cultural Competency in Healthcare

Step 2: Apply for the StrongerBC future skills grant online using your BC Services Card Account
