What do you do for students?

In Accessibility Services we help students get started with supports that will help student to be successful in their studies.

How should students prepare for a visit or call?

Be willing to receive and share information about what their academic goals, strengths and challenges are. Students are welcome to have a support person with them any time they need it.

What else should students know about your department?

  1. We respect your privacy and therefore we do not share your diagnosis with instructors or others
  2. We plan with you the academic supports you may need for each class.
  3. We will also help you to plan academic activities and connect you with internal supports
  4. We help you to learn how to advocate for yourself and how to navigate difficult situations
