Help shape post-secondary opportunities for Northern BC students
You know what your child needs. We want to hear about it.
CNC is developing a comprehensive Youth Initiatives Strategy to support students across Northern BC, from Kindergarten through Grade 12, and we're starting by asking parents and guardians to share their honest perspectives.
Why This Survey Matters
Currently, CNC's youth programming focuses primarily on grades 10-12 through dual credit opportunities and recruitment efforts. But education pathways don't start in high school. They're shaped by awareness, access, and opportunity from early childhood forward.
This survey helps us understand:
- When and how families start thinking about post-secondary education
- What barriers exist for students in different communities and age groups
- What supports would actually help Northern BC families navigate these pathways
- How we can create meaningful touchpoints throughout your child's educational journey
Your Input Shapes Real Programs
The feedback we gather will directly inform program development, community outreach, and transition supports across our catchment area. Prince George, Quesnel, Burns Lake, Mackenzie, Vanderhoof, and Fort St. James.
Whether your child is in kindergarten or Grade 12, your experience matters. Parents and guardians see what works, what doesn't, and what's missing. This is your opportunity to tell us.
