The Trees of CNC food collection for the CNCSU Student Food Bank is almost here! We encourage your program or department to sign up to set up a tree and collect non-perishable items this festive season.
Registration deadline: Friday, November 21
Tree set-up: Thursday, November 27 (all day) & Friday, November 28 (all day)
Trees of CNC food collection: Monday, December 1 – Friday, December 12
Tree take-down: Monday, December 15 – Tuesday, December 16
Please remove your tree by the deadline so we can get ready for January Orientation.
Here are the details:
- Plan your tree theme and submit your online registration form (remember to include a name for your tree). Be creative!
- You must provide your own tree and decorations. Live trees are not permitted.
- Let us know which day you expect to set up your tree (dates above).
-
Due to the Witness Blanket display in the Gathering Place, the Trees of CNC will be set up in a designated section of the Gathering Place and, if needed, on the second-floor landing. The exact setup will depend on the number of trees registered.
A few days before your scheduled setup day, you will receive an email with a map showing your assigned tree location. This email will also include information about any additional items you may need (extension cords, etc.) based on your location. Marketing and Events will coordinate with you to provide any necessary items.
- You will be provided with a food collection bin and tree name sign at your tree location.
