Event Description
Staff and students at CNC are invited to take part in a guided walk that offers an opportunity to connect with the land through both cultural and ecological perspectives.
This guided walk, led by an Indigenous cultural advisor and a Natural Resources and Forestry instructor, weaves together the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous communities with the insights of ecological science, offering a deeper understanding of the natural world and our place within it.
You’ll learn how Indigenous ways of knowing (rooted in deep observation, respect, and reciprocity) intersect with Western ecological science to create a more holistic view of the environment.
Come walk with us, listen to the land, share in its stories, and experience a meaningful blend of knowledge, culture, and community.
