Please join us as we welcome Corinne George, who is Wet’suwet’en from the Gidimt’en Clan (Bear Clan). Corinne has a Master of Arts in history from the University of Calgary. With extensive experience in research, writing, and teaching, Corinne strives for Truth and Reconciliation in all aspects of her life. Corinne has spent many years living in both Alberta and British Columbia. Currently, she lives in C’iggiz, Gidimt’en, Wet’suwet’en territory, and is the Community Campus Manager of the College of New Caledonia – Burns Lake Campus. Corinne will speak about her life experiences and book, Alha Disnii - My Truth.
