Earn Post-Secondary Credits While Exploring a Career in Tech

TekX is a dual credit program for Grade 11 and 12 students in Prince George within School District 57 or Cedars Christian School that enables you to earn credits at the post-secondary level while you’re still in high school. Get a taste of the post-secondary experience now with these exciting courses in technologies - both at CNC and at UNBC.

Who is Eligible for TekX?

TekX is open to students entering Grades 11 and 12 who meet the following requirements:

    1. From School District 57 (Prince George) or Cedars Christian School 

    2. English Language Arts 10 (Minimum “C”) or equivalent

    3. Workplace Mathematics 10 (Minimum “C”) or equivalent

    4. Recommended by their high school counsellor to participate

How to apply

Step 1: Complete the Technology Exploration (TekX) Dual Credit Program: Application Package
Step 2: The high school counselor will submit your completed application package on your behalf to regoffice@cnc.bc.ca

Available Courses

This cohort-based model is delivered twice per year in either of the Fall or Winter high school semesters. Interested applicants apply in their Grade 10 or 11 year.
