Building Envelope Project
Accessibility & Detours
Please use posted detour routes and alternate entrances during closures.
- The 700 Block main entrance will be closed August 11–14, with access available again starting Monday, August 18.
- Back entrance to the cafeteria (200 Block) will be closed during fin removal. Expect noise, dust, and temporary pedestrian rerouting in affected areas.
- Accessible parking at the South Main Entrance is temporarily relocated near the crosswalk ramp.
Construction continues on the 700, 300, and 200 Blocks at the Prince George Campus. Work includes demolition and installation of new building envelope components such as roofing, exterior walls, and exterior lighting.
Impacts: Expect elevated noise and alternate routes in these areas.
Network Renewal Project
Upgrades to fiber and ethernet cabling are underway across multiple campus blocks including 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 700, and 900. Work involves accessing common areas, network closets, classrooms, and offices in the Prince George campus. This work may occur during regular hours and in shared spaces. While disruptions will be kept to a minimum, staff may see temporary staging near classrooms and offices.
Impact: Expect increased noise levels and narrower hallways. Network disruptions are not expected but may happen during key transitions.
Please follow all posted signage and detours. Your safety is our priority. Thank you for your patience.
