Thinking of becoming a registered nurse?  

Get your first year of post-secondary behind you with the nursing pathway certificate program. With this program, you’ll be kickstarting your Nursing Degree with a lighter course load, so you can have more time to figure out what your future holds.   

After receiving your Nursing Pathways Certificate, you have the option to apply to the Bachelor of Nursing program to continue your studies, or to transfer credits to a related program that better suits your future goals.

Upon completion of the Nursing Baccalaureate, you will be prepared for employment as a Registered Nurse in a number of work environments:

Entry Requirements

  • Anatomy and Physiology 12 or equivalent  (minimum 73%)
  • Chemistry 11 or equivalent  (minimum 70%)
  • English Studies 12 or English Studies First Peoples 12 or equivalent  (minimum 70%)
  • Foundations of Math 11 or equivalent  (minimum 70%)

*Anatomy and Physiology 12 or equivalent must be completed within five (5) years prior to the semester of admission to the NCBNP.
