COVID-19 Current Status
More
Happy new year and welcome back for the new term. We hope everyone’s term is off to a good start.
Colds, influenza, and other respiratory illnesses are more common in colder months. The COVID-19 pandemic also continues. It’s important for us to take steps to protect our personal health and safety and those around us.
We will continue to provide public health information as new details become available. For the CNC community, we ask you to continue:
Monitoring your health and staying home if you aren’t feeling well or have a fever;
- Getting vaccinated against COVID-19, influenza and other illnesses;
- Wearing a mask as needed; and
- Cleaning your hands well and often.
Starting November 17, 2022, people who have COVID-19 are no longer required to self-isolate. It is still important for people with symptoms to stay home until your symptoms have improved, and you can participate in your usual activities. The college’s academic concessions policy and procedure as well as the student declaration of absence form are available on CNC’s policies page.
You are also welcome to review CNC’s communicable diseases plan which continues to guide our activities.
Thank you for your attention.
