CNC, UNBC Sustainability, REAPS, EAT, and Northern BC Bear Aware are teaming up for Fall Fruit Fest 2025, a celebration of food, community, and sustainability!
September 4: The Canning Circle will be processing fruit at CNC from 5:00pm - 9:00pm in room 1-214. Staff and students are invited to participate. Participants can pick up the homemade fruit leather the following morning.
September 5 - 7: Students and staff are invited to participate in fruit gleaning. Fruit gleaning is the collection of ripe fruit around Prince George that needs to be picked before it falls to the ground. This results in a safer community as it reduces human-bear activity.
