Event Description
Join CNC Mackenzie and community members for an evening of reflection and learning in honour of Truth & Reconciliation.
We will be screening DƏNE YI’INJETL: The Scattering of Man, a powerful Canadian documentary directed by Tsay Keh Dene member Luke Gleeson. The film shares the story of the Tsay Keh Dene First Nation and the devastating impact of the W.A.C. Bennett Dam on their traditional lands and community in the 1960s.
All are welcome to attend the screening on Tuesday, September 30th at The Purple Bicycle (600 Mackenzie Blvd) starting at 6:30pm. Soup and sandwiches will be provided to all who attend.
This event has a capacity of 35 people and pre-registration is required. To register, please connect with CNC Indigenous Advisor and Community Liaison, Andrea Morrison via email or by phone.
