Event Description
Join us at the Prince George Campus outdoor courtyard on May 15th at 12:00 as we stand in solidarity to help end gender-based violence.
This important event is part of the national Moose Hide Campaign Day, a grassroots movement that invites people across Canada, particularly men and boys, to take a stand against violence toward women and children. Everyone of all genders is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The gathering will open with a land acknowledgement and a reflection on the meaning and significance of the Moose Hide Campaign.
Listen to the CNC Drumming Group, who will offer songs in tribute and respect. In closing, a traditional smudging and cleansing ceremony will be offered for those who wish to take part.
Moose Hide pins will also be distributed as a symbol of your commitment to this cause.
Together, let’s walk forward in respect, healing, and action.
