About the Project
The Wayfinding Project is designed to make it easier for students, employees, and visitors to find their way around the Prince George Campus. New signs will provide clear directions to classrooms, offices, services, and other important spaces. This will help people feel more confident as they move around campus, especially if it is their first visit.
The project also brings a consistent look to signs across campus. Together with the Building Envelope Project, the Wayfinding Project will help create a more modern, welcoming, and connected campus.
The Wayfinding Project supports CNC's Strategic Plan (lhulh whuts'odutel'eh – Learning Together) by improving campus spaces, making them easier to use, and creating a better experience for students, employees, and visitors.

Project Timeline
- Spring–Summer 2026: Planning, design, and production of new signs
- August 10, 2026: Interior sign installation begins
- August–Fall 2026: Signs are installed across the Prince George Campus
- Project completion: To be announced
Impact on Campus
Most of the work will have little impact on daily campus activities. During installation, you may notice:
- Temporary work areas in hallways and common spaces
- Short-term changes to access while signs are being installed
- Contractors working in different parts of the campus
