DESCRIPTION:

This course provides the student with a basic knowledge of forest engineering practice in the field of forest road design, construction, maintenance, and deactivation. Other topics include soil classification, watershed assessment, survey and design of drainage structure, and Forest and Range Practices Act and associated regulations. Emphasis is placed on field procedures and microcomputer design applications.
