DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to introduce the student to evidence-based practice and research methodology. Emphasis will be placed on exploring a variety of research designs, developing research questions, and accessing credible evidence-based resources through databases. Evaluation of quantitative research designs and applying sound research principles to answer dental hygiene questions will be covered.
