Locked out and need to set up two-factor authentication? Set up the Authenticator App

What is Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 gives you the flexibility to work wherever and however you want. This means you can work in the web, on your desktop, or using your mobile device. And when you save your work to the cloud, it means:

  • Files save automatically so you won't lose a thing.
  • Co-author and work on files at the same time, no matter where you or your collaborators work. You'll see changes right as they're made.
  • Add or reply to comments and @mentions to give feedback and make suggestions.
  • Open documents right in Microsoft Teams to stay in the flow.
  • Make quick edits and reply to comments in the Office mobile app while you're on the go.

Work from anywhere!

With OneDrive on your mobile device, you can access, upload, and share your files from anywhere. The mobile app lets you:

  • Open your files in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint to edit them.
  • Share, delete, move, or rename files.
  • Save files offline so you can view or edit when you're not connected to the internet.
  • Create new files and folders, take photos or videos, and upload new files.
  • Use Scan to turn a document, whiteboard, or business card into a PDF that you can annotate and share with others.
  • Switch between multiple OneDrive accounts.

   Using the OneDrive Mobile App

Saving documents to OneDrive or other online sites makes them available from other devices and easier to share.

 Saving Files to the Cloud

When you save your file to the cloud from a desktop app like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, it's simple to work with others at the same time and keep your changes saved to the cloud.

 Using Desktop Apps

When you save your file to the cloud from a desktop app like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, it's simple to work with others at the same time and keep your changes saved to the cloud.

Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication adds a layer of protection to the sign-in process. When accessing accounts or applications, you will provide additional identity verification, such as entering a code you have received on your mobile phone. This added level of security provides more protection than passwords alone.

Scheduling Meetings

The calendars in Teams and Outlook are synced, meaning that meetings scheduled in Teams will show up in Outlook and vice versa.  Using the scheduling assistant in both Teams and Outlook will allow you to ensure the attendees of your meeting are available.

Customizing your meetings

Here are some pointers on how to enhance and customize your meeting experience in Microsoft Teams with these audio, video, and collaboration tips.

Collaborating in Teams

Teams provides a secure environment for collaboration.  You can collaborate on shared projects and prevent version control chaos by working on the same document with others in real time.  You can share all types of files, whether you’re sending a PDF or a spreadsheet, the process is simple for all file types.

   Comments, mentions, and tasks

Use @mentions in a comment to get someone's attention, like for feedback or for more information, exactly where you want the help.

   Document Sharing

By sharing links to files, instead of attaching a copy of the file to an email, we can save a lot of computing resources and have one file that we can all collaborate on. Please view the following videos to find out about File Sharing and Collaborating in the CNC Teams environment.
