Event Description
The Sonography program is seeking volunteer patients for its annual Mock Clinic. Sonography students will practice ultrasound examinations as they prepare for their first clinical practicum.
Staff, students, and community members are invited to participate.
What to Expect:
- A safe, non-invasive ultrasound exam using soundwaves (no radiation)
- A water-based gel applied to the skin for imaging
- Exams may include:
- Abdomen
- Heart
- Pelvis (uterus, ovaries, kidneys, bladder)
- Vascular (neck arteries or leg veins)
- Some appointments may require preparation (e.g., fasting or a full bladder)
- Sessions are approximately 1–2 hours
- Opportunity to see your own anatomy on screen
Why Participate:
- Support student learning and hands-on training

Safety:
All students follow PPE and clinical safety guidelines.
Appointments:
Appointments are available from 9:00am – 12:15pm. Different ultrasound appointments are available at select times only.
