Event Description
All are welcome to attend a Pipe Trades Information Session! This is an opportunity to get an in-depth overview of the program and what you can do with your education. Participate in hands-on activities, meet your future instructors, and connect with others interested in the program.
Those who attend may apply to the program free of charge.
By attending the event, you will:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Pipe Trade programs and what you can do with your education.
- Learn about CNC, the Prince George campus, and the various services available for students.
- Connect with other students interested in pipe trades.
- Meet staff and faculty.
There will also be light refreshments, snacks and a “swag bag” with CNC merchandise available to win!
CNC’s Pipe Trade Programs set students up to work in three different trades:
- Plumber
- Steamfitter/ Pipefitter
- Sprinkler System Installer
With a CNC education, you will receive the theory and academic knowledge you need while gaining practical skills though hands-on learning. Piping tradespeople are expected to be in demand with the expansion of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry in Northern BC.
