DESCRIPTION:
In today's economy, employee skills and talents are often the source of "competitive advantage" for organizations. Human resource managers are often tasked with developing in-service training for front-line employees and professional development programs for future leaders and managers. This course teaches students to balance the need for training and development oppor - tunities with the organization's demand for accountability and return on investment. Students learn about the increasing use of technology, blended approaches to training delivery, explicit and hidden costs of training as well as how to evaluate the effectiveness of the training. Prerequisite: Students must be admitted into the Human Resources Management Post Diploma program
