Why to take Electric Car Training?
In northern BC the demand for electric or hybrid cars is rising every year since 2010. Electric vehicle sales were accounting for about 10% of all car sales in 2020 and in 2021 we can expect even more. Electric vehicles are selling in record numbers in British Columbia, with more than 54,000 light-duty EVs now registered in BC. With that comes a higher demand for battery replacement and servicing.

Certified ASTs and registered AST 4th year apprentices build on previous understanding of conventional vehicle systems to develop skills in preparation for the exponential increase in electrical vehicles on our roads.
This Electric Vehicle Training has a 6 hour online self-paced module that must be completed in advance of the 30 hour classroom/shop training period.
