DESCRIPTION:

|
This course is an elective for the Trades Discovery Program. It is designed to introduce the learner to the carpentry trade and its various career options including residential, commercial and renovation construction. In a safe environment, students willdemonstrate material and tool selection and usage, standard building techniques, and develop skills to create 3-D objects from 2-D plans and blueprints.
