DESCRIPTION:
A continuation of the study of silviculture. This course starts with a focus on building silviculture prescriptions based on an understanding of management objectives. Considerations of each step in prescribing basic silviculture activities are covered. Silviculture surveys used to determine basic free growing outcomes to a provincial government standard will be studied. Standards of due diligence and ethical practice will be emphasized.
