DESCRIPTION:

An introductory examination of the mechanical and anatomical basis of human movement. Students will gain an understanding of the application of the elementary principles of physics and math and apply them to a quatitiative analysis of human movement. This analysis will also focus on the development of forces within muscles and their effect on initiatiion and controlling human movement.
