The Peer Connections program is an opportunity for NEW International students to be mentored by a International Student Leader in their 2nd year. This program will help new students transition and adjust to post-secondary life in Canada, and make connections and friends! This opportunity is online for Spring 2021.

International Student Leadership Program and Ambassador Program
Leadership opportunities are plentiful at CNC. If you are interested in enhancing your leadership skills, you can volunteer in a wide range of activities from hosting and organizing cultural and student events to fundraising. Once you have completed your volunteer work, you will receive a leadership certificate from the International Student Leadership & Ambassadorship Program. Graduates of this program also receive a letter of reference from our department which can be used as part of your university applications.

Events and Activities
Student activities occur year-round, providing a varied schedule of fun events like sightseeing trips to Jasper and the Ancient Forest, ski trips, movie nights, pot luck lunches, dances, sports and more. Stop by the International Education Centre, check the ‘College of New Caledonia International Education’ Facebook page or visit the events page for upcoming events and activities.

Students’ Union
The Students Union have a variety of volunteer opportunities as well as host a Clubs Day every fall.
During Clubs Day students can create and sign up for on-campus clubs such as Environmental Studies Club, Hiking Club, Movie night Club and many more. Being part of a club means that you may be fundraising, attending meetings, putting on events, and of course, getting involved in club activities.
The CNC Students’ Union is always happy to welcome new volunteers to the team. As a volunteer, you may be involved in spreading awareness, campaigning, and helping with campus events, just to name a few.
