Overview
Sunday, May 31 – Saturday, June 6 is National Accessibility Week.
Join us for a relaxed lunch-hour session where we'll explore why accessibility matters across Canada and, more importantly, how we put it into action right here on campus.
We'll walk through the things that make a real difference for students and employees: accessible library collections and our new study pods, accommodations and assistive technology, facility upgrades like the wave-activated doors, and the accessibility resource collection, and decompression space in the Aboriginal Resource Centre. You'll also hear about the accessibility plan we're developing, and the supports already available to you.
Come for the conversation. Pizza and refreshments will be provided. Whether accessibility is part of your daily work, or something you'd simply like to understand better, you're welcome to join us.
