Event Description

The March with Arch began as a deeply personal healing journey for Archie Chantyman, a Residential School Survivor. Each year, Archie walks from Lhoosk'uz Dene Nation to the St. Joseph Mission and back to honour the children who never returned home, to support Survivors still healing, and to walk for those who cannot.

What started as one man’s journey has grown into a powerful act of remembrance, resilience, and community healing. Archie shares his story with courage and compassion, especially with youth, who carry the responsibility of reconciliation into the future.

We invite students, staff, families, and community members to join us for this special presentation and stay for lunch, made possible through the generosity of Lhoosk'uz Dene Nation and West Fraser Mills. This is a meaningful opportunity to listen, learn, and come together in the spirit of truth, reconciliation, and intergenerational healing.
