Event Description

Thank you for your interest! This event is now fully booked and registration is closed.

We’re grateful for the strong response and look forward to welcoming all registered participants!

Walk alongside Elders Sharon Primeau and Ellie Peters as they share their deep knowledge of traditional plant medicines, land stewardship, and Indigenous wisdom.

Learn about powerful plants like echinacea, sweetgrass, calendula, and more—and hear the stories and teachings connected to them.

  • Sharon Primeau, Wildcrafter, has nurtured a thriving medicine garden at CNC and leads salve workshops and plant walkabouts.
  • Elder Ellie Peters, a respected Southern Dene language teacher, brings her knowledge of plant medicine, tracking, and traditional survival skills.

All are welcome to join this meaningful learning experience. Please remember: plant medicines should only be used with the guidance of an Elder or practitioner.

Come connect with the land, the teachings, and the community.

Email Karen Green at greenk1@cnc.bc.ca to register. 20 people maximum – early registration is encouraged.
