Student Registration
Registrants will receive a confirmation email with the event link and additional resources to help prepare for the event. Those who choose not to register can still access the NorthWorks Event by clicking the link on the day of the event.
In order to maximize your engagement in the fair, we recommend downloading Zoom and Microsoft Teams software to your computer or mobile device, as many employers will be using this software to connect virtually with students. Meeting information will be available on employer booths under the “Presentations” button. While the button does state “Presentations”, most employers will be using the meeting rooms for casual conversation with job seekers, just like a face-to-face fair. These Zoom/Teams meeting rooms also offer the option to use the chat function provided by Zoom and Teams.
Please note, if you visit the site before the day of the event, some booths may still be under construction.
Resume and cover letter writing resources can be found on UNBC's Career Centre website.
A full list of employers attending can be downloaded. Check back regularly as this list will be updated as new employers register.
Employers
This is a great opportunity to connect with intelligent and motivated students and introduce your company, career options and employment opportunities to UNBC and CNC students.
Employers can register for this event by completing the NorthWorks Registration form for employers.
Additional Employer Resources
An information session for employers on how to build the virtual booths will be held on March 3rd from 3:00pm - 4:00pm. A meeting invite will be emailed to employers who have registered and paid to attend the event. The documents below contain information on building your virtual booth in the Easy Virtual Fair platform.
