This course is an introduction to managerial accounting. Emphasis is placed on cost for planning and control. Some of the topics include cost terms and classifications, joborder costing, process costing, activity-based costing, cost behaviours, and cost-volumeprofit relationships. The computer lab component utilizes spreadsheet software.
