DESCRIPTION:

This course allows students to continue to develop skills for the practice of dental hygiene. Students will schedule patients for ADPIE process of dental hygiene care. This course will include application of local anesthetic sessions. Learners will also continue to build on radiographic techniques from Clinic 1 and will demonstrate effective technique and use of dental images. Students participate in lab seminars for further clinical instruction and faculty conference time for discussions and updating of clinical experiences.
