A message from Dr. Dennis Johnson, President and CEO
CNC flags at half mast

CNC will half-mast the College's flag at the Prince George Campus on Thursday April 21, 2022 to honour the life and service of Dr. Bryn Kulmatycki. He passed away following a cancer diagnosis.

Bryn’s lengthy career involved service as a leader in the public school system in Alberta, as well as two decades of post-secondary experience. We were fortunate to have Bryn as part of CNC’s leadership team from 2011 to 2015 as associate vice president: academic and vice president: academic.

Bryn moved to Dawson Creek in 2015 to become president of Northern Lights College… a position he held until his retirement in January.  I came to know Bryn through our shared work with our fellow presidents in BC Colleges. He was an affable individual who worked closely with partners in education and the community to support student success.

The CNC community extends its sorrows to Bryn’s family including his spouse Shirley as well as their children Ian, Preston, and Tracey; as well as the students and staff of Northern Lights College.
