CNC will offer three ways this holiday season to make a difference in the lives of students and community members this holiday season. We welcome your participation in contributing to one or several of these efforts, or activities of your own choosing.
Trees of CNC in support of the CNCSU Student Food Bank
With COVID-19 gathering restrictions having eased compared to last year, the PG Campus will display trees in the Gathering Place, main entrance, and the Canfor Tech student lounge.
From November 29th until Friday December 17th, please drop off your non-perishable food items in the boxes under the trees (see list below for suggested food items). All food will go to support students at all campuses via CNCSU.
In lieu of trees, Quesnel will be collecting non-perishable food items and gift cards for the Quesnel CNCSU at Christmas dinner events on December 7 and 9 and offering a donation basket at the Student Union office.
CNC Student Hardship Support
The College will launch a new campaign to encourage monetary donations to CNC’s hardship fund for students. From now until December 24th, you can contribute on our Canada Helps Campaign Page and see the updated totals as our campaign takes place. Tax receipts will also be available.

CNC Community Support
Over the years, departments in the college have given to causes that support the wellbeing of those in the communities we serve. Several program areas are planning activities this year.
We will be sure to tell you more as CNC’s Season of Giving unfolds. Thank you and all the best this holiday season.
